I bought my Fitbit charge5 last week and when it went down to 0%, I plugged it in to charge.
Then it started vibrating in quick bursts. 2.5x per second. I left it to charge for rhe last 6hrs and it's still vibrating and will not turn on nor charge.
I've tried the rebooting steps but that did not work.
What's wrong with it?

Hi, @Ooiming, welcome to the community, assuming you have previously paired your Charge 5 with your phone and it worked previously check to see if you have inadvertently set a countdown timer (if you can access the device screen)
Try & verify your device is charging, If you sync the "Today screen" on the app on your phone you can check the value next to the battery icon in the top right. If there's no charge have a look through Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Still no progress? your best next move is to talk to "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. Before starting your call make a note of the steps you have taken & the results along with when & where you bought the device. You will still have the benefit of the Fitbit warranty
I hope this helps.
Cheers
