Charge 5 won't sync or charge

It appears my app done and update yesterday and now it won't sync to my Fitbit and I'm also trying to charge my Fitbit. It shows as charging but been on 19 percent for over 2 hours now! I've cleaned the back of the Fitbit, the charging port, changed plugs and sockets and made no difference! I've only had this Fitbit a few months, my last one lasted 3 years before giving up the ghost, so I'm not impressed

Hi there, @HKing1. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out. 

As a first approach, please restart your Charge 5 and then, attempt to sync. If it's still not syncing after the restart, please follow the tips and recommendations provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? 

Once you manage to solve the syncing difficulties, let's troubleshoot the issue with the battery by attempting these suggestions. 

If none of the above seems to work, may I know if you're seeing something on your Charge 5 screen? Like the Fitbit logo or so?
