Charge 5 won't sync sleep

My FitBit Charge 5 keeps showing "Wear your Fitbit to bed", even after I have try to sync multiple times, shut off and turned on Bluetooth, rebooted my phone, restarted the Fitbit 5, and tried putting the Fitbit onto the charger.  It's still at 78% charge.  I never had this problem with my Fitbit charge 2.  This is very frustrating.  I've searched for a fix but everything has to do with other models.

Thanks for getting back to us @MaggieMuffins. I moved your post to the Charge 5 board and I'm sorry to hear that your tracker isn't syncing your sleep. 

 

If your Charge 5 isn't registering your sleep, I recommend trying the following:

  1. Manually sync the tracker. See instructions in How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
  2. Restart the tracker. See instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Try sleeping with the tracker on your non-dominant hand.
  4. If steps 1-3 don't work, I suggest manually logging your sleep to reflect the time slept. See instructions in How do I change my sleep history?
  5. I also suggest checking if your Fitbit app is updated.
