Charge 5 won't sync with my iPhone

My Charge 5 often takes a very long time to sync.  Recently, I have also notice that not all information on my watch appears on the App (e.g. my phone says 9/9 hours moved but my App says 8/9).  Today I noticed that no hours moved on my watch are showing so far on the iPhone App but they do appear on the website version.

Hi & welcome @Athome59

Sorry to hear you're having synching issues. For whatever reason, I've noticed more recent posts about issues with Fitbit and iPhone synching properly.

One person was able to resolve their synch issue by force quitting the Fitbit app on their iPhone, then re-opening the app. When they did that, their data synched with the app.

You could also try restarting your device from the settings menu on your Charge 5 or by using the charging cable that came with your tracker. If you would like more detailed instructions, please click here: Update, Restart, & Erase for the Charge 5

Hopefully, one or both will get you back in synch.

Every now & then, the Fitbit app on my phone doesn't show all the data from my Charge 5, similar to what you've experienced. The data usually synchs up eventually in the app. The good news for you is that you're seeing the data from your Charge 5 on the website dashboard. That means your data from your tracker is intact.

Thank you for the information. It is helpful to know I am not the only one experiencing these issues. I had already tried all the suggestions (e.g. quit app, restarting devices, resetting my watch, etc.). I haven’t tried removing the app from my phone and then reinstalling it. I may try that next.
