The entire reason I got the Fitbit was to monitor my sp02% levels and I have now had it for five days and it is still not reading it. When I go to the health metrics tab, it says no Data in the past 24 hours for both Skin temperature and oxygen saturation. How can I fix this?

Hi there, @StevePost. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5. I understand how important it is to you to get your SpO2 readings. @SallyFox Welcome on board! Thanks for sharing the steps that have worked for you.
You should be able to see your SpO2 trends in the Health Metrics tile in the Fitbit app on your phone. To get SpO2 information, you need to:
Regarding SpO2, keep the following in mind to make sure your Fitbit device successfully measures your SpO2 values:
Turning off any clock face permissions can cause the clock face to stop functioning. To check these settings:
Your Fitbit device must be able to consistently track your SpO2 data:
Wear your device slightly higher on your wrist.
Make sure your device is in contact with your skin.
Your device should be snug but not constricting.
Tattooed skin can impact the accuracy of the red and infrared sensors on your Fitbit device.

Hi StevePost
i got mine yesterday. Had same problem. Read all about it. Had the latest OS version. Still couldn’t get that App to work so just uninstalled it then reinstalled it then data came up from first overnite sleep.
Best to read all the info on how App works but basically gives you a reading after 3 hours sleep. So is not dynamic - only nightly snapshot as far as I can work out.
hope this helps 💜
