Charge 5 won't track my sleep data

Ever since November 2022 I've pretty much gotten no sleep scores and I only occasionally get resting heart rate.  Since I have a history of insomnia and had a heart attack 10 years ago, these are the main reasons I bought the thing.  My old Charge 3 never had an issue.

I've tried EVERY solution ever mentioned in these forums and nothing works.  It just refuses to do these two things on a regular basis.  Does anyone have any new suggestions before I throw it in the trash and buy another brand?

Thanks.

Jeff

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Jsovelove!

I've seen that you already have searched for help the end of last year, and I won't repeat the recommendations which @MarreFitbit has given you in that regards.
Have you already tried a new device in the meantime, as you'd mentioned you'd be going to do so?
If so, there must be something in general that prevents Charge 5's heart rate sensor to work properly for you.
I remember users reporting imperfect heart rate tracking due to very hairy forearms. In this case I'd suggest shaving the place where you're Charge 5 sits. Also tattoos are known to impede heart rate tracking. So you might swap your device to your other arm, this one hopefully being without tattoos.
Now you might wonder why your Charge 3 didn't have an issue reading your heart rate. Fitbit is constantly trying to improve accuracy of their sensors. Thus Charge 5 for certain has newer sensors built in as Charge 3 did.
I hope I could be of any help solving this mystery.
