Charge 5 won’t turn on

My Fitbit Charge 5 had plenty of battery, but just randomly switched off. It has been on the charger over an hour but still not switched on and is not connected to the app. I have tried doing restarts as described by pressing the button on the charger 3 times for 1 second in 8 seconds, or for 15 seconds then unplugging and back on and no luck. Any advice please?

Something strange going on…youre the 5th person who I see here, that this has happened to. Mine has done same thing in past 2 days.

I am having the exact same issue. I know the display works because the logo pops up and it even vibrates but then it seems to shut down. Has anyone found a solution?

I have not unfortunately. I thought I was on to something last night, after removing the app from my phone, resetting the Fitbit, reinstalling the app and adding the Fitbit back into the app, it seemed like all was normal again however a couple hours later, battery was dead again.

So…I await my Sense 2 and hope I didnt make another mistake buying Fitbit.

Haven’t managed to resolve it and not received any suggestions.

Turns out mine was totally dead. I chatted with Fitbit via the messaging
function. They had me run thru everything again and confirmed it. Sad mine
was only 6 months old they are providing a free replacement

Honestly no clue. How would I figure that out?

By looking at settings and Fitbit data on the unit, or looking at firmware version in the phone app.

I'm running 57.20001.188.58 mine died last night can't get it going again.     Tried the reset, cleaning the charger contacts, nothing works.

Once again it is VERY suspicious that all these units are dying, running that FW version, yet they have had a new FW version since July and I was never informed that I can install it.

Me too! It happened so suddenly, I wish it wasn't bricked 😞
