My fitbit has no power to it.  I haven't wore for about a month.  The app says it is fully charged.  What am I not getting here?

Hi there, @Jmcbee60. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5.

If you haven't done so yet, please try restarting your Charge 5 as suggested in this help article How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and your Charge 5 does not vibrate when you connect it to the charger, try these steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Regarding the battery level on the Fitbit app, note that it updates every time you sync. That means that if your Charge 5 hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last sync. Once you manage to charge and sync your Charge 5, you'll see the battery level updates on the Fitbit app.
