Charge 5 won't vibrate at all

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Recently, my fitbit stopped all vibration and/or notifications. If I set a countdown/alarm, I get no notification. Text/Email doesn't generate a notification.

I have enabled/disabled quiet mode and DND multiple times. I have restarted the device on the device and using the power cable. I have un-paired and uninstalled the software on my Andriod pixel phone. Re-install and re-pair device doesn't resolve the issue.

If I send a test notification from the app, the screen stays blank until I tap and then I see the notification, but no vibration.

Any ideas?

Hi there, @CharlieT92. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll be glad to continue helping you!

To better assist you, would you mind confirming whether you tried all the tips and recommendations provided here Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?

If the above has not worked, please try restarting your Charge 5 once again by following the steps provided here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Let me know how it goes.

It looks like a motor issue. I followed those steps. I also cleared user data. I suppose I should contact customer support at this point.
