Charge 5 won't vibrate when I receive notifications

I am not receiving vibration notifications on my charge 5. I have restarted the device, my phone and the app but I can't seem to get my Fitbit to vibrate when I receive texts or calls and I am not receiving notification reminders to move. I can see text notifications when I select notifications but I don't feel anything.

Unfortunately nothing seems to make a difference. When I go into my app to ensure everything is enabled, it indicates my notifications are off and when I turn them on, it turns them off again. I do get the notifications but without the vibration. My vibration does work as I've used it for my morning alarm but it doesn't alert me to text messages and for reminders to move.

I am having exact same issue of no vibration notifications for exercise reminders or phone/messages just in last few weeks. Followed all reset suggestion for phone, app & device but no impact.

I realized that my device was in sleep mode. Once I turned it off, I started receiving notifications.
