Charge 5 won't work properly

Data does not reset at midnight. No communication between my device and the app. I am not able to update  as well. What next?

I saw that you've been having issues with getting your Charge 5 to update. Hope you had a chance to try the troubleshooting steps that Marie provided.

Now, it seems like you're also having problems with syncing. This page has the recommended troubleshooting steps to try: Why won't my Fitbit sync?

Although it's not mentioned in the troubleshooting steps, some users reported that they also needed to turn Wi-Fi off, then on again on their phones to get their devices to sync.
