I went swimming yesterday with my charge 5, after a while the screen was just black and I couldn't get any contact, so I took it off, dried it up and it hasn't worked since. I tried restart it with the button on the charger but nothing. I have tried letting it be over night, but nothing works. What do I do?

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. As this sometimes needs a few attempts, I'd suggest giving it another try to restart your device by closely following these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
If this won't work for you on the first run, please give it another try. If it still won't solve your issue, I'd suggest to contact Fitbit support to get further assistance as your device might be defective:

you should try to use the charger and press 3 times, 1 second intervals. Hope it works!
