Charger 5 issues with Daylight Savings Time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Today’s Daylight Savings Time is causing problems with my FitBit. I cannot set the reminder of hourly activity times. Each time I set the goal times of 9am to 4pm, it changes to something else. I have had these hourly reminder times since I purchased my Charger 5. In addition, my bedtime setting was an hour off, but I cannot change my bedtime - it changes to something else. I have logged off, shut down my phone, unpaired the Bluetooth, and even deleted the app. Nothing works.

Hello @RevDarren

Unfortunately, Fitbit has a known history of not dealing well with the twice a year time change. The Sunday after the time change is frequently a mess.

It's best to wait a day before making any corrections. Often, the issues will sort themselves out on the following day. If they don't, you should be able to make the necessary changes.

Hey Revdarren,

This same problem has been going on for 3 years now. I don’t know why they haven’t fixed this by now.
Total incompetence from FITBIT, but obviously it is not high on their priority lists.
Hope it improves for all of us one day but I won’t hold my breath.
