Charger 5 won't charge

Purchased Charger 5 second hand, had it charging for over an hour no sign of life

any advise other than the bin

Tried all the troubleshooting suggestions but nothing is working, when connecting the devise to charge it vibrates

but nothing happens screen blank

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5, @Petero1. If you've not already done, I'd suggest to try restarting your device. To do so please perform these steps:

 

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.

2.) Press the button located on the USB plug of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second(!).

3.) Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

 

If this doesn't work for you I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support to get further assistance as there might be hardware issues with your device:

Thank you for the reply can confirm tried all the suggestions unfortunatley all I have is a vibration

when attaching the charging cable but still blank screen.
