My Fitbit screen has become unresponsive. It displays a whitish (cloudy) face and remains that way until the battery dies. When recharged, it displayes properly for a few minutes, then goes white again. I have tried all the steps, including pressing the button on the charging cable 3 times with a 1 second gap between. I have tired to chnaging the clock face. No results. Its about 7 months old.

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. As you couldn't fix your device's issue by restarting it and considering the fact that it should be covered by warranty, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support to get further assistance:
