Chlorine vs charge 5

I work in a pool sometimes for periods up to 8 hours without a break and was wondering if it still is acceptable to wear this Fitbit or what measures would be necessary or if i had to simply not wear it?

Thank you for sharing that you've been having this inconvenience with your Charge 5. 

There are some general recommendations to take care of the device, you can find this information on the Wear & Care Guide. However, as it happens with other electronic devices, the Fitbit was designed to track swimming, so it is water resistant and can withstand exposure to chlorine for an certain period of time, but I would not recommend to wear it the entire 8 hours, everyday and without breaks, as it would potentially cause some damage eventually.
