Choppy Bluetooth Audio after Charge 5 Firmware Update?

Has anyone else experienced issues with choppy Bluetooth audio on their iPhone after the recent Charge 5 Firmware update.   I am still troubleshooting but there seems to be a correlation with the Charge 5 Firmware update I accepted on my Fitbit and a degradation of the Bluetooth connection between my iPhone XR and Airpods and UEboom Bluetooth speakers.  Apple is investigating on their side but so far removing the Charge 5 Bluetooth connection from my XR seems to have resolved the problem.
