Connecting Charge 5 to Apple Health?

Apparently there's no built-in way to connect Fitbit to Apple Health? You have to use a 3rd party app? Any comments on which is the best app? Why doesn't Fitbit play with Apple? I understand they are competitors, but I don't think it somehow helps Fitbit sales to not enable this connection.

Correct @Barry07, apple has decided not to connect to fitbit.

A quick 1 second Google search brings up this app. I'm not sure if Sync Solver is still available.

I'm pretty sure the issue is Fitbit - Apple has APIs for Health available to developers. Fitbit is choosing not to use them.

Fitbit has been very clear since long ago that they are not supporting connection to Apple Health (or even Google Fit when Google is the owner of Fitbit) because not convenient for their business model.

In general fitbit will not force them self on to third parties, IE: Use their API without being asked, but invites third parties to work with fitbit.

There are two third parties that fitbit owns the APIs one of the came to fitbit and helped fitbit set it up so that your heart rate will sync, IFTTT is the other app.

@Barry07 Sync Solver is the app everyone points to. I can't find it anymore.

To be honest, I had a cheap tracker watch I did calls and it cost me $25 text messages. It was way more informed than this Fitbit and it worked with my Apple phone and you can’t believe how much I am kicking myself in the butt for getting rid of that thing when I go in to Apple help it says you’re getting data from here in here and there’s no data from fit better all these stupid sync apps none of that works

The thing is, is it Mike sync your Fitbit app to other apps, but not Apple help you have to connect to iPhone an order for your steps to be counted from your Fitbit to your iPhone I’m not sure there’s a way to do that
