Counting Steps while pushing a Stroller (GPS?)

Hi, I wanted to know if there is a possibility to count steps while pushing a stroller.

I though an integrated GPS would be the solution for this, but it's not really working.

Any idea?

Thanks!

If you arm isn't moving you won't get steps.  I put my Fitbit in my pocket whenever I'm pushing a shopping cart or wheelchair.  I've had the Fitbit One, Alta, Alta HR, Charge 2, Charge 3 and Charge 4.  The ONLY one that counted steps properly was the Fitbit One, which I clipped on to my pants pocket. Stair counts are a joke as that count is more about atmosphere (wind) than stairsteps.

Oh! I had Alta HR and I thought this would be fixed having the GPS. What’s the GPS for then? Does it counts km well if I’m pushing the stroller? Didn’t check this.

Thanks!

GPS is for mapping routes when walking or running.  When I've used it to track cycling, I get relatively few steps.  For instance, a 28km bike-ride yielded 5000 steps so I'm not sure it'll help compensate for step tracking lost while pushing a buggy.
