Dead screen for the second time

I have had two charge five fitbits get the black screen of death now. I jump through the usual troubleshooting steps (charge, restart, etc.) and neither time has it worked.  Fitbit help has been easy to deal with. Just confirm troubleshooting steps, send a video with a tracking number that they provide in background of the attempt to activate the screen and then it's a warranty replacement.  I hope that this next one (lucky number 3) holds up.  I was a real fan of fitbit devices but this is souring my enthusiasm...

Exact same thing for me. Fitbit replaced my first one fast and this second one, no one is answering my email with video. Frustrating 

 

seems like charge 5 is a dud. Constant black screen failures.
