My charge 5 has worked well since I got it over a year ago. I only wear it at night to monitor my sleep and breathing. Well yesterday Google convinced me that I should link my Fitbit account to my Google account and this morning my Charge 5 will not sync to my phone or my tablet. I tried restarting both the fitbit and bluetooth but still no sync. Any ideas? Help is appreciated.

Hi, @Jackson314 , Google has not confirmed that this is a possible explanation, but you are not the only person to have mentioned sync issues following migrating the account from Fitbit to Google. Whatever the cause, hopefully it is a temporary problem…
Having said that, sync problems are not unusual, and often resolve themselves without the user doing anything unusual, but I do appreciate that it can be frustrating, especially if you want to check your sleep patterns when you first wake up!
I find the easiest way to force a sync is to log out of the app and log back in again. This may work for you too - but do make sure that you remember your new Google log in and password, as you cannot return to your old log in once you have migrated. If that doesn’t work, then please take a look at this help article for troubleshooting a Fitbit that won’t sync. I would suggest carefully working through the suggestions there - except that I would not recommend removing from your account a Fitbit that isn’t syncing except as a very last resort - if you remove it from your account and it still won’t sync you won’t be able to add it back in.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. Welcome to the Community Forums!
