Displays Fitbit logo and will not pair

My Charge 5 started showing the Fitbit logo and did not respond to anything. I did the 3 pulse restart procedure several times and tried to sync to my app (running on Samsung @22 Ultra). The app goes to Bluetooth Pairing and Linking and spins - it says it is taking longer than usual. It never completes.

I can reset the watch and it just goes back to the Fitbit logo.

Tracker Firmware is 57.20001.171.50

App Version 3.66 (36669011)

App say "Sync Now" with a red exclamation mark - no additional information

Dropped tracker from app and attempted to pair it again. This fails.

The tracker does not show up as a possible device to connect to when it restarts and should be in pairing mode. My phone certainly does not see it and it is sitting right next to it.

Have I had yet another Fitbit device fail?

Hello, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @mindrobots

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5 and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.

In this case, since you already tried the restart procedure with the charging cable and you continue to experience the same problem to set up the Charge 5. it would not be possible to try some of the other steps that are usually helpful with these type of issues.

In this case, I do recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. They will let you know how to proceed. The best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call and you can click here to get connected.

See you around.
