One of the reasons I got a Fitbit was to track my sleep because I have developed a problem sleeping through the night. I have the Charge 5. I wore it for three nights and my sleep was worse than ever. I was awake most of the night for each of three nights.
It is not having it on that bothers me. I find it very comfortable and don't even notice the feel of it on my wrist.
Has anyone else found that it affects their sleep -- or causes inability to sleep?

Hi @Hopingtosleep is it the screen lighting up when you move that could be disturbing you? You can set the sleep mode - see page 17 of the user manual. It dims the light. Try and see if that helps you.

Thank you, Odyssey13. I didn't know that. I'll try it.
However I don't think that is the issue. It doesn't just wake me intermittently. I wake up after a short amount of sleep and cannot go back to sleep fat all for the rest of the night. I was thinking it might be the pulsing it has to do to measure my stats, or the EMF emissions it gives off that may be reaching my brain and stimulating it.

Have you tried sleeping with it off? I know when I got my first Fitbit, it took time getting used to it being on my wrist at night, especially since I didn't even wear a watch during the day. Let us know what happens.

I didn't even notice it on my wrist at night. I'm afraid to try sleeping with it again because I got so overtired from three sleepless nights. I had worn it for three nights before I realized that might be the cause because wearing it was the only thing that had changed from my regular routine. I have the Charge 5 so I can't try sleeping with it turned off. If I could, I would know if it was the electrical impulses or the feel of it on my wrist that keep me awake. But, either way, I would have to risk another sleepless night.
