ECG function issue

I want to take an ECG and every time I go to the ECG function, it is showing 'Can't find phone'. I am able to sync the device with my iPhone. So I don't think there is an issue with phone connection. However always can't do the ECG due to the mentioned error. I just bought the device a few days back. First time experiencing Fitbit. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the ECG app using Fitbit app. But unable to uninstall. When click on uninstall, it is showing some process ongoing. But after some time the progress just stop and show uninstall button again followed by a pop up message 'Unable to install-Install failed. Please try again later'. Disappointed with fitbit

Sad to hear you're having issues with ECG on your new Charge 5. As a first attempt to get things fixed I'd suggest restarting your device. Before doing so you should make sure you've synced your device to not lose any data tracked so far. Next please closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
