EDA measurement

My EDA measurement result always say my heartbeat could not be detected.  Yet it always shows a heart rate count on the results.   The About says the measurement relies on contact with the watch and the “palm”.   Are we supposed to be holding the device in our palm for the EDA measurements?

Hello @Fschw

Are you using the Charge 5?  You're supposed to touch the sides to measure EDA with the Charge 5.  I think with the Sense you're supposed to put your palm over it.

If you follow this link and scroll down the page, you can read about how it's measured and it also has some troubleshooting advice.

EDA

I hope that helps a bit.

I have a 5.  And have been pinching the sides.   But the “Learn More” says “palm”.    They should match the info to the device.
Pinching the works great for ECG. But horrible with EDA.  Has a different sensitivity.
