For the life of me I cannot find the Edit function for my Dashboard (working on my computer). I found this advice on the boards: The EDIT button is in the upper right of the screen just under your notification inbox. It is not. There is nothing to be found. Any advice? (I'm working on a MacBook Air, if that makes a difference)

That's the Edit button for the Today screen of the phone app. You would have to be specific about what you want to edit on fitbit.com dashboard; some things there might not be editable, as also plenty is also not editable on phone app. Not one general "Edit" button.
If talking Activity Log, look for the pencil edit icon.

The widgets that show up on the Webpage Dashboard are not the same as the items that show up on the phone app. Editing the phone app is pretty straightforward (there is an edit button in the top right), but I see now way to delete widgets from the webpage Dashboard. The widgets I'd like to delete are not even present in the phone app. Poor interface between the two.

Definitely true. The fitbit.com dashboard has not been maintained for quite a while. I think it is now basically there as it has been for years for anyone who still wants to use it that way, with the understanding that it is probably not to see improvement, and you are basically on your own trying to use it; the future is in the phone app.
That said, there are some things, particularly on the heart rate graph, that I find easier to read on bigger computer screen than on small phone screen.

Yes, you're right. I didn't realize that the fitbit.com dashboard has been left to languish. Seems odd but I'll stick with the phone app, I guess. Thanks much for your responses!
