Entering meditation session manually

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

While meditating on my own (and not using the videos in the App), I wish to track changes in my numbers (bpm, breathing, skin temp. etc).

But charge 5 measures only calories during the meditation session logged manually.

Any solution?

The closest you can get is to pick some exercise you never do and use that for meditation via the Exercise App.  That way you can have a record of your sessions, and see your heart rate, but none of the other measurement you would like.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks that helps, will use your tip.

I do hope that Fitbit looks into this, meditation is meant  to relax you a bit... in the short term and longer term.

Would be great if they could measure trends (while some meditates over few weeks or more).

Hello @PallavShukla

I just checked and if you record it as a Workout (or something else in your exercise shortcuts), you can later edit it in the App by tapping on the session, then Categorize Exercise.  When you search on that there is an option for Meditating.  Then it would show on your App and you could compare your Meditation sessions later.

I do that with some of my exercise classes and see if the calories burned were different etc.  There isn't a way of doing this in an organized way that measures trends that I'm aware of, I just tap on different ones and go back and forth to compare.  It might help a bit though.

It also might be worth making a Feature Suggestion for that by clicking here.  It's probably a good idea to perform a search first to make sure it hasn't already been suggested (you could add a vote then).
