I went for a walk and tracked it on my Charge 5. I stopped the tracking at 11.55pm. When the time ticked over to midnight, it was showing the steps from the walk on the new day and about 2500 extra steps had been added compared to what the "finished workout" screen showed (for how long I was walking, there's no way I could have got that many extra steps in without sprinting the whole way).
On top of that, the watch suddenly won't sync with bluetooth any more and seems to be lagging a bit between screens. I've tried all the steps they link to when you have a connection issue and made sure the app is up-to-date.
Has anyone else randomly had a workout log itself completely wrong, either day or stats? It's weird that the end screen showed correct info then it just added in some more steps out of nowhere.
Update: right after I posted this, it sorted itself out... That was a weird hour.

Thanks for the update to let us know that your issue cleared up on its own. Early last week, we learned there were issues with sync and logins due to a problem with Google server(s) and users migrating from Fitbit to Google login. Although we were informed that it was resolved within a day or so, I suspect that the fix may not be 100% yet & there may be occasional sync and/or login related issues. What you experienced might have been one of those. Thankfully, yours cleared up quickly. Hopefully, anyone else experiencing similar issues will also find that the problem has resolved itself.
