Feedback about Change 5 Clock Faces

I know they are new but the clock faces for the Charge 5.... well.... suck.   PLEASE tell me more choices are coming along, particularly one with time, steps and HR on the main screen!

If you haven't done so already, please make sure that you've voted for the ideas mentioned here earlier. However, if you also have a specific idea about particular clock face or design, I recommend that you post your idea in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community including as many details as possible. This section is regularly monitored by the team of developers.

Glad that you are asking for suggestions. My only suggestion is to bring back the clock face that shows all stats at once in a hand raise: time, day, number of steps, heart rate, cals and not remove useful features in the future.

Absolutely.   Clean.  With the ability to customize the stats, font, size and color of text.

Totally agree, all stats except distance on one face would be brilliant. It’s a shame the stairs feature was removed but the shockingly terrible choices for clock faces makes you forget about that.

As a Fitbit owner since 2013, I couldn't agree more.  I like stat heavy clocks.  I don't need another watch!

I also would like to see more professional-looking clock faces. I actually can’t read these faces while teaching hot yoga class when I’m not wearing my glasses. This is an accessibility issue that Fitbit should fix.

Maybe have the mobile app design them for us, with color selection, time/clock format and a selection of stat choices. I have to agree they're all pretty bad. Not even a plain Jane option.

I feel so seen! I bought the Charge 5 a couple of weeks ago and thought I was just being fussy with the new faces. Not a fan!

All I want is time, steps and heart rate in monochrome to feature on my clock face like on my Charge 4. I don’t want to have to tap through the options. I am using the slashed face but it’s still not great.

Other things I dislike about the Charge 5: 

- promoting better battery when it’s largely improved because they have reduced the length of the screen time and the brightness. I have had to increase this (on settings) because I can’t read everything in a flash and use this as a nightlight when going to the loo in the dark.

- the side button being removed and constantly having to tap to get the stats ups. Urgh, not everything has to be tapped. 

- the terrible neon colours

- a constant pop up that says ‘unable to sync’ to my device, despite it actually syncing 

I’m so reliant on my Fitbit to keep me motivated and have seen a decline in myself since I got this new watch. Luckily I still have my Charge 4 so have reinstalled that until the Charge 5 gets better. 

P.S obviously there are MUCH more important and terrible things going on in the world right now but I’m glad our Charge 5 woes are felt across the community 🙂

New owner here and I'm honestly shocked that only two watch faces display HR all the time. I mean, it's a fitness device, what are we doing here?

I’ve had Fitbits for years. Unless the watch faces improve my Charge 3 will be my last.

As usual, all customer feedback is treated with generic platitudes and then ignored. Well, that works 2 ways!

It's become readily apparent that Fitbit isn't going to address this issue.  Why, I have no idea.  It seems like a fairly obvious and simple solution.

Based on this, I've just bought an Apple Watch and will be saying goodbye to Fitbit products once my 5 bites the dust.  Why would I ever invest my money in another Fitbit product when they may decide to simply ignore issues with that also?

Some designs look fancy but are not practical. With aging eyesight, I want less complexity. Time date and steps fixed on the home face would be great, I’m happy to scroll for other data but want the features I favour fixed on the first screen.

It would be great if they included the charge 4, charge 3, etc as classic face options. Standard one color faces and then allow color customization of those if desired.
