I know they are new but the clock faces for the Charge 5.... well.... suck. PLEASE tell me more choices are coming along, particularly one with time, steps and HR on the main screen!

Seriously! $179.00 and no usable clock face! I settled on the Slash as it had, at least, had some information but the presentation is terrible. Please work on this.

Well just got my Fitbit 5…
Not sure if it’s a good thing or bad thing that I’m not the only frustrated about the “watch faces”.
The Fitbit 4 was much better showing time AND steps at the same time. Without trying to scroll through pages like on the Fitbit 5. The main purpose I bought an upgraded Fitbit is for tracking fitness, not as a watch.

I wish I had read this before I ordered. Received my Charge 5 today and am baffled at the clock selection. I do use mine as a watch, and having the readout split does not work for me. Why are all the options slanted or cut off in some way? This will be my first Fitbit return.

Please don't continue to tell us to vote. The sheer number of comments regarding the terrible watch faces should be all the information you need to add some more functional watch faces.

Just purchased a brand new charge 5.
Have had 2 charge 3s over the past 4 years. Upgraded to the 5 and found the frustration that many others have aswell apparently. Strongly considering returning the product for something else, especially as this seems to be a year old problem. The older models had a wider and more functional range of clock faces to choose from. These trackers are watch aswell and the fact that you can't get a proper watch face is ludicrous. That you cannot customise anything on this model seems crazy. The sheer lack of choice of clock faces that aren't for children is astounding.
Please, Fitbit allow a wider range of faces. Even if they are clock faces from previous charge models! Allow for more input. The fact that you cannot even get a single watch face that reads hours, minutes AND seconds blows my mind. Ive payed a lot of money to be disappointed.

Seriously. It’s not our job to do consumer research for Fitbit. There is an overwhelming demand for functional watch faces, and that should be clear to them by now. Hard to understand why they even issued the 5 with those faces, much less why they refuse to fix the problem.
I’ve actually switched to another product and am much happier. I can’t even give my 5 away because no one likes the faces. Have given it away twice and both gave it back almost immediately. Strangest behavior by a manufacturer I have ever seen.

Which product are you using now?
I just got my charge 5 today (had 2 and 3 previously) and I am baffled at how something so widely request for almost a year has just been completely ignored by Fitbit.
The clock faces are all atrocious and for some reason the team here just don't seem to care.

Why does something like this take almost a year to even be considered?
It's utterly baffling!

I agree these clock faces on the charge 5 are awful. I’m considering returning it. I don’t want to keep tapping to get my stats one by one. Fitbit do better. This is frustrating. The charge 3 was nice and displayed time date steps hr all on one tap

I just got my Charge 5 yesterday and like everyone else in this thread, I really am shocked by the lack of practical watch faces. I'm even more shocked that FitBit has done nothing to address this despite all the comments here. All I want is the time, heart rate and steps on the main screen in a design that isn't trying so hard to be retro and cool - is that too much to ask? Apparently so! I tried using the Slashed design since it's the only one that includes time, HR and steps but with the time being partially cut off and the puke-green colour, it made me not want to look at the watch. I think FitBit is too busy commoditizing our data to focus on listening to users' needs. As a long-time user of Fitbit products, I'm really disappointed. Like others here, I will also be considering getting an Apple Watch instead.

Exactly right! Stop stylizing everything and become functional. Truncated time on Skashed is annoying and can be confusing. Make a ‘Straight’ with the same info. Remember the face is off more than it’s on and when we want to see it we’re looking for numbers not pretty!

Frankly, had I known the clock display would show as it is, I would never had purchased.. 01 then 35 below the 01?? What the hell?
Horrible

My solution in the end was to buy a refurbished Charge HR.
It shows my steps instantly, which is what I want most.
The horrid designs offered for the Charge 5 are terrible, the company never offered better options, it's been two years and no action.
$18 and I'm back in business.

It would be great to have the clock of target but the stats of slashed put together so you can have a normal looking clock face with all the stats without have to click to see each stat separately like you have to do on target. Slashed is great except for the green weird looking clock
------------
Try using the date and time of target and adding the stats like slashed and then everyone can see there stats with a nice looking clock instead of the lime green weird looking clock
