I just got a Charge 5 and it won't read my heart rate. After reading other posts, it sounds like it's because of my tattoos.

I never had this problem with my Charge 2 and it sounds like people are ok with the Charge 4. 

Has anyone figured out a workaround?

I'd love to keep my Charge 5, but HR is crucial to my workouts cause I have heart conditions.

Hi @typodactyl a few people have posted about their tattoos over the years. Most recently people have said using white medical tape or nano tape has made a difference and it appears to pick up the heart rate. You can experiment and let us know what works best for you.
