Does any moderator know anything about this 194.78 firmware update for Charge 5. I haven't even seen an update for 194.61 yet?

Firmware updates usually are rolled out in waves. So whenever a new firmware version is announced to having been released, there is no way to predict when your device will be in line. It may take a few days but also several weeks.
Sometimes, if issues occur shortly after a new firmware is being used by a larger number of users, manufacturers often even pull the plug to investigate on those issues to get a bug fixed re-release on it's way.

Your Fitbit app will automatically point out when a firmware update is available for your Charge 5.

Yes, I understand that, but I have not heard any moderators say that a new firmware 194.78 was being sent out, have you? Or, wether firmware 194.61 was causing all the problems to the Charge 5. Are these assumptions you are making, or do you have knowledge of what is going on?

Could you please provide a source with the announcement of version 194.78?

This was posted by  Adamweiss on the firmware 194.61 community discussion yesterday.

I have an "FB423" Charge 5, and I successfully updated to 20001.194.61 and used it for about a month with no issues. I was just been prompted to update to 20001.194.78 and have been using it for about 13 hours with no issues.

I'm the one who posted about that, and I would very much like to get this answer as well. My Charge 5 is on version 20001.194.78.

@Talahthas For many of Us the firmware is still the 188.IT would be nice if someone of Fitbit make a statement in why after Three months that the update was announced,still a little part of users really had it,and why a firmaware update roll out is so slow this time(never happened).But i Guess that after three months of silence no one would come here to make a statement in whats going on.
