Black screen but green light was blinking at the back, left it to recharge overnight, today morning still no reponse, went on fitbit forums to get solution, did the 3 sec button tap release function to force reset the charge 5, it did vibrate and kinda reboot but now the screen is white n black… since I couldn’t find that problem with anyone else, asking for assistance.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @S1ddharth!
Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Thanks for having taken your time trying to get things fixed by yourself. Although you've mentioned already having done that, I'd suggest trying to restart your device again as sometimes you'll need more than one attempt to get that that working successfully. Before doing so you should make sure you've synced your device to not lose any data tracked so far. Also you should verify that the charging contacts on your device are clean and the charging pins on it's charging adapter are clean as well and can move flawlessly. In doubt, please have a look here:
How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Next please closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
If that really won't work for you, please try if changing the clock face will get things fixed. More on that can be found here:
How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
My last suggestion would be letting the battery of your Charge 5 drain completely until your device will shut off, then giving it a full charge again. If your device's display still looks similar to what you've posted, please contact Fitbit support for further assistance as your device presumably is defective.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
