Fishing Heartrate

When I’m fishing my Charge 5 shows unreasonably high heart rates. I’m an intense person but I’m 55 and there’s no way I’m hitting 150 beats/min standing and casting. I’ve switched wrists (to avoid a cranking of the reel counting as a step) but no change. When I sit down while the boat moves to a new spot I can watch the heart rate drop by dozens of beats/min in seconds. I’ve even taken my own pulse and don’t get the higher rate.
