Fitbit 5 Charge won't sync. Doesn't respond to cable button clicks

The last time my Fitbit Charge 5 synched was on Thursday. I have tried synching while charging and I pushed the button on the cable 3 times. Nothing happened. In previous years, if this happened I could plug it into my laptop and synch to the Fitbit Web Dashboard, but I now see Google has taken away that option.  If my Fitbit does not synch, it is useless to me. I am a 10 year  Fitbit customer, but this Fitbit Charge 5 will be my last Fitbit device. I will find a different device to use going forward.

Same issue, same day. Had a FitBit given to me in 2013 I think.... so done with the glitches since Google bought them.
