My new Fitbit 5 does not register or shows floors- not on p

iphone app or on tracker?

That is the way it was designed, though probably not the way you want.  It is not intended to measure floors.  It does not include the required hardware altimeter so it could not measure floors climbed, even by added firmware update.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
