Hey folks, I picked up a Charge 5 today and a third party band at the same time. No matter how much pressure I put on it, the third party one won't click. My partner has a charge 5 too and the same band fits fine in hers. Seems like a tolerance issue. I thought I'd check to see if others have had this problem and found any solutions before I contact Fitbit. Thanks!

Hi @k1ristaa1 third party bands aren't always compatible. I doubt Fitbit support would be able to do anything, ,since they are going to suggest you only use authentic Fitbit bands.

Out of curiosity, does the band that came with your Charge 5 latch properly & securely? If not, then it sounds like you might have a problem with the latching mechanism on your Charge 5. If the OEM band latches fine, then the problem is likely with the 3rd party band. Maybe you can exchange the band for a different one. If you bought it at a store, I'd consider asking the clerk if I could check to make sure the band latches before you leave.
FYI - I use a 3rd party band that I bought from Amazon. In the reviews, there were mentions that the band didn't latch properly. However, I haven't had any issues with mine.
