I bought a Fitbit specifically to track my heart rates, and detect when my heart isn't quite it's usual. Unfortunately, I have frequent PVCs and it does not detect this, nor does it show an irregular heartbeat notification whenever I have these happen. This should be something that is easily detected, since it is an irregular heartbeat situation, why does the ECG and watch not pick up on these, even when using it to manually check my heartbeats?

Hi @LolaMarie902.
Simply the ECG and irregular heartbeat notifications are only designed (and certified) to detect afib, the watch isn't looking for any other conditions or irregular beats. This is why it won't detect or alert you to PVCs.
