I was keenly awaiting the release of the Fitbit Charge 5. I was hoping that the announcement of Garmin acquiring Fitbit would quickly release the best in class fitness tracker currently available. I was hoping for the most intuitive use of measurable health data delivered in practical ways to assist in building habits related to health and well being.
Fitbit has achieved this in the build quality, screen, and solid tactile feel of the body. Beautiful form, curves and quality band.
I would like to see Fitbit make public a roadmap of the features in development and planned for the future. I believe this would restore the hope that I have that the Fitbit Charge 5 will be the best in class fitness tracker.

Hi @wbadams10000 in January 2021, Fitbit's acquisition by Google was complete. Google now owns Fitbit, not Garmin.

Your feedback and comments are appreciated, they help us to continue improving our services offered. The best place to check some of the future planned ideas is our Feature Suggestion board, the status that each one has will change depending on Fitbit plans.
Also, the upcoming features that Charge 5 has is a good indicator. 😉 You can always keep an eye on the Fitbit website for updates.
See you around.
