I've had my fitbit charge 5 for less then 6 mounths,and its even worsecthen previous additions! I've hade both charge 2 and 3 before. Both went to warenty (they broke within the warenty) and the replacements broke just out of warenty.
The only reason i buy gitbit is becsuse of the apps it syncs with. But my charge 5 is the worst I've experianced this far!
The alarms stop functioning under 40% battery if I don't manually restart the watch every other week. I called tech-support, and they thought me how to restart the watch (new feature compared to previous versions). But it doesn't solve the issue. The charger restart have never worked, but the software restart do.
Something in the software is off! Never had this issue in any of my previous watches. If it's not fixed soon, I'll use my warenty.
And for software updates (this isn't optional if you want me to keep buying yor brand):
- Better battery alert (like charge 2 and 3).
- option to turn off the GPS (I don't need it in my daily life). I'd rather have the options (that is avaliable now) to turn on when I need them. But this watch has several days less battery time (and the biggest change is the gps).
If the issues isn't fixed (there is no avaliable software updates for my watch).
