At first, my Fitbit Charge 5 stopped charging or turning on the screen. A few days later, it started working again but wasn't tracking heart rate or sleep, and ECG wasn't working either. And then, it stopped working at all, nothing happens when I plug it on the USB, and I've already tried restarting it, cleaning the charging contacts and all the other tips that I read here in the community. I've been using it for 6 or 7 months now and I've never put it under the water. Is there any other way to save it or should I replace it for a new one since it's still under warranty?

Same thing happened to me 6 mos ago. Call the support team. They will help you troubleshoot. Ask for a replacement if it’s under warranty.

I have tried all the troubleshooting and my watch is still dead. I bought it on Amazon but apparently they won't replace it beucase it was sold by a reseller. How could I know that? Is there anything else I can do? This is an expensive watch, many people are having the same problem (so it's a defective product) and it's totally absurd they won't replace it after just 6 months of use. I'm not buying anything from FitBit ever again.

Same for me . I’m on my 3rd fitbit and it needs charging every night. I’m so disappointed, biggest waste of money for such a decent brand. I’m in despair.

My charge 5 got wet a little when washing my hands and the screen went black. Trouble shooting didn't work and report sent to the analysis team.
Since it was out of warranty they sent me a 50% code to apply towards a new watch. Unfortunately, it applies towards the normal retail price, not the current discounted prices. Still a decent offer and I'm giving Fitbit one more try with the Sense 2 that comes with an additional band for free (back ordered).
All in, with the discount, around $125.00 and free 2 day shipping. It arrives tomorrow.
