I have a Fitbit Charge 5 and it just recently stopped working. I have had my Fitbit Charge 5 since 2020 and it was working fine. Now all of a sudden it's not recording anything. I am studying for IT Certifications so I did all the troubleshooting also prior to connecting to Live Chat for assistance this evening (Dec 15th 2022). I was instructed to do everything I had already tried. I restarted the C5 while in the Live Chat. The C5 restarted and showed my Heart Rate for a sec then it stopped showing. I thought was fixed so I ended the chat. I did get a case number and was told someone would be emailing me about the issue but I ended the chat before I realized it still was not working. Looks like to me that not only are Android phone like Samsungs are having problems but also the Apple Phones. When the updates were done to the app looks to me like they left out the Charge 5. If they are servicing the Fitbit Charge 5 then it would to be informed. I also pay a monthly fee for Fitbit Premium which is no longer valid if I'm unable to use the services. This is unacceptable. I need a fix to this issue, along with everyone else, a replacement or my subscription will be canceled. I'm quite sure the consensus is mutual from other subscribers and users

Hello, I installed the update but unfortunately I'm still having the same issues. I have done everything to include, removing the Fitbit Charge 5 out of the Fitbit App, uninstalling the Fitbit App, resetting the FBC5, reinstalling the FBApp, added the FBC5 back in the FBApp and ended with the same result. Nothing is registering (i.e. heart rate, steps, sleep etc).

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit community.
Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. I've merged you threads to get better understanding about your issue.
I've read through your prior post. As far as I understand, your device isn't showing any readings about your body metrics. To clarify things a bit, this has nothing to do with the phone your device is paired to.
Can you fully charge your Charge 5? What you described could indicate a defective battery.

Yes it's showing that it's fully charged.

No, my phone works fine. The FBC5 is recognized by my phone & it pairs but it's still not working.
