Fitbit Customer Service is Absolutely Horrendous

I’ve had multiple fitbits and they have all stopped working randomly. These products are absolutely not worth the money and to make it even worse, this company’s customer service is extremely disorganized and unhelpful. Absolutely horrendous. I will definitely not be purchasing any more products.

I agree.  I couldn't get my ECG reading to work on the Charge 5 I purchased a few days ago.  Most of the time is said inconclusive, but other times it said error and other times the app would just quit.  I spent over an hour in chats and on the phone with customer service and they kept telling me to keep my arms on the table and relax.  No assistance whatsoever in helping me determine if there's a problem with my fitbit. Luckily, Amazon has a simple replacement policy, so I don't have to deal with fitbit's customer service anymore regarding this issue.

Same here. Just got off the phone AND a chat due to my Charge 5 biting the dust. It only shows a blank green screen. I'm on my third call with support and literally every time they say to do the same things (clean the contact points, do a hard reset, etc etc). How about "it's just a **ahem** device?"

I wouldn’t call support Horrendous but incompetent instead. Support personal have always been friendly but their solution for everything is just replace the device. Even after telling them it’s obviously not a hardware problem because the device has been replaced three previous times and I still have the same issues they continue to want to replace the device. The software is very buggy and Fitbit premium is worse and less useful than the free version.

Android 13 screwed up Fitbit and Fitbit wasn't prepared for it.
