FitBit is not working after only 2 months of use. Stopped working after recharging and restarting it. Still in warranty.

I seem to be suffering the same problem. The device just completely stopped working two days ago. The screen is absolutely blank and no amount of reboots have helps to restart the device. Please do let me know if you find a solution.

Same here, but it refused to pair with phone, ive done everything. Just getting the Red X of death and it drains the battery to zero, and keeps repeating this. I am starting to think there wont be any help of this, just wasted the money,

I suggest that you contact Fitbit support. They will walk you through a series of troubleshooting procedures. Once they confirm that none of the procedures returns your device to normal operation and if it's still under warranty, they should send you an offer to replace the tracker/pebble or a discount on a different Fitbit. If your Charge 5 is no longer under warranty, from what I've read they should send you a discount to replace your device. Note: the discount is on the full price even if the device is on sale in the Fitbit store.

This is what I had to do when the screen on my 6 month old Charge 5 became non-responsive shortly after I updated the firmware. So far, my replacement is working fine even after updating the firmware.

Mine is not even showing the red “X”. Just a dead screen. Nothing happening. Spoke to the customer service on chat and they could only say that someone will mail you on the next steps. Still no idea what can/ will be done. It’s quite annoying- reading online, I am realising that this black out is a big problem with Fitbit- something I didn’t realise was such a rampant issue.
