Fitbit and Nike running app show different distances

I did a run and tracked it in both my Fitbit and Nike Training app. Fitbit says I ran3.97km whereas Nike app says I ran 3km. How can it be so different?

I got it reverse.. Nike app shows 5 KM and my charge 6 says 4km
