Apparently I didn’t take any steps yesterday…..every other day is fine.

Synced but still won’t upload.

Hi, @Nessa77, May I suggest you restart your "Charge 5"? This video demonstrates the process, do NOT use a factory reset (you'll lose your data)

I hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Hi there, @Gr4ndp4. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post and the images attached.

In addition to the steps provided by @Gr4ndp4, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Based on your post, it seems you're running into syncing issues. Try the restart you were suggested, and then sync.

@Nessa77 Thanks for following the tips and recommendations provided above.

What happened to you
is an expected behavior. You should have logged in to sync your Charge 5 before you began wearing it. As per the description of your post, it seems your Charge 5 hasn't had synced for a while when you noticed this inconvenience.

If you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article Can I add an activity manually to the Fitbit app?

I’ve NEVER had to sync before wearing EACH TIME….what a ridiculous answer. I do a sync every few days and have never had this issue.

Hi, @Nessa77 , I think the point here is your Fitbit app will sync each time you open it. If the data has not been updated after a recent exercise, the option is there to force the sync. The alternative would be for the device to constantly sync (something not seen even on other devices) which would inevitably impact the device battery SOC.

Cheers
