This recent update is awful and makes the app unusable for me. The teal on white print is hideous. Every section looks uninteresting and exactly the same with indistinguishable section labels making it very difficult to glean information at a glance. I will just use my device alone and enjoy it a lot less. I sure hope you kept it nice for those paying to use this app. So disappointed.

Absolutely agree! Looks so naff! Also been having battery problems since the update. Mine not holding it's charge for more than 12 hrs! So disappointed with Fitbit. Have had a Fitbit and been happy with it since 2016. Unless Fitbit make some changes - quickly, I may have to move to a different brand.

I totally agree. This is so frustrating!!! The battery charge is virtually nonexistent!!! I had a 100% charge when I went to bed last night only to discover this morning’s notification from 12:54am that my battery was low. HOW??!!! All I did was sleep!! FITBIT, get it together!!!

Agree. The adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is never in play with Fitbit. This update looks awful, information we used to have available is now missing (such as battery percentage) and it’s not user friendly. If the purpose of the update is to drive users to the Premium version, it failed miserably. After 5 years using Fitbit, I’ll be shopping for an Apple Watch.

Totally agree! Really ugly design. Boring. Not sporty or playful. Battery charge in % gone. And the design is also awful BIG; I have to scroll a lot and I've a 6,1" screen. There was much more info on my screen without scrolling, everything was smaller and looked better. I have not read about the bigger than big design yet, so maybe I do something wrong?

It's more difficult to read and the background is to bright. The old version was more easy to read. The heart rate is almost un-readable without a magnifaing magnifying glass

It's worse than looking naff - it doesn't work correctly either. For example I can't Activities anymore - they've made the box on the app readonly so a Workout can't be updated to a more specific exercise type afterwards. This makes it worse than the correctly functioning previous update - are fitbit going to rollback until the problems are fixed?

I hope so. Training is one of the important function and it is not supporting it correctly anymore. I really really hate this update. Might result in switching to another brand of smartwatch completely and recommend others in not buying Fitbit anymore

Completely agree it’s awful! I have to add my charge 5 every time I check my kids devices and am getting nowhere with customer support! After 7 years of having a Fitbit I can honestly say I’m looking elsewhere for the 3 of us now.

AGREE!! I just renewed my Premium service right before the update and I totally regret it now! HATE the app. And I find it odd so many people are having the same issues I am. My Charge 5 had been working flawlessly but since the app update, it has been stuck with the Fitbit logo on the screen for the past week. Now I can't sync it, reset it, or even use it. I've tried everything & support has been of no help - only recommending I purchase a new Fitbit. Really? You bricked my current Fitbit product and you want me to buy another?? Have been a Fitbit user since 2012 but because of this event, I will be purchasing a different tracker!
