Fitbit are you really that delayed? (Notification bar, pedometer and excercise live info on phone)

I was really looking forward to getting this band and I'm shocked how much Fitbit is behind other companies.

1. You should really learn from Huawei. With their app ON THE PHONE I was getting a count of steps/calories burned and some other values right away on my notification bar, I didn't even have to unlock my phone.

2. While riding on my bike I didn't get any data like speed/km/pace on my phone. So you think it's safe to constantly look on your watch while riding a bike to check if you're in a fat burn are with your HR???

4. In a smart band for this amount of money you couldn't put altimeter to count floors? Why?

3. Huawei and Garmin are not asking to pay anything monthly and giving much more in return. Money isn't everything dear company.

I just started thinking of returning this band, because beside ECG it doesn't have anything useful comparing to Smartband GARMIN VivoSmart 4.

@Rogal7 if you leave the fitbit app open on the phone while stepping, the phone will display live data. As for a bike ride, I haven't tried this, mainly because it is unsafe to ride with only one hand on the handle bars.

As for an altameter, as users we have k now idea. My guess it has something to do with the limited space and maybe how controversial this option has become

While bike riding, your tracker uses the GPS to determine changes in altitude not air pressure.

As for pay for service, each company has their own ideas.
