Fitbit charge 5 syncing

My fitbit Charge 5 always has to sync, and takes awhile to do so. I keep the app open in the background always. Is that normal? If not how do I fix the problem. I have restarted the fitbit a few times as well.

Hello @8SHLJW 

Mine behaves the same way at times regardless of my App being open. But from my understanding your Fitbit should sync when your near your mobile device or when you have the App open about every 15 mins on its own. Otherwise if you want to see your stats sooner you can manually sync your data by swiping the Today page downward on your Fitbit App. If you still think there is another underlying problem try logging out of the Fitbit app, restart your mobile device then log back into your Fitbit app you normally would. Sometimes a little “refreshing” helps as well.
