Fitbit charge 5 went blank

My Fitbit Charge 5 suddenly is not working. Screen is blank despite charging it. 
 
I tried re-starting by pressing the button on the charger 3 times with a gap of 1 second, but the screen remained blank.
 
The item is under warranty however unable to reach Fitbit customer support India by email or phone

This same thing just happened to me this morning.  I am going to try to contact support in US
